Frequently Asked Questions
How often do I need to come to campus?
You can view the current schedule breakdown here. Your presence on campus is required on a more regular basis during practical lab components of the Hybrid PCP program. Please consult your Admissions Advisor for specific, up-to-date information regarding the hybrid schedule.
Can I work while in this program?
The Hybrid Primary Care Paramedic program utilizes online delivery for theory components, which may offer more flexibility for students with employment. We recommend reviewing the schedule to get a better understanding of the time commitment required to successfully complete the program.
Are clinical and preceptorship placements in person?
Yes. Since this portion of the program evaluates your competency in clinical scenarios, you must be physically present. We strive to place students for clinical and preceptorship rotations closer to home through site agreements across New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and PEI (subject to the availability of placements by employers).
