Pre-Graduation Information

If you plan on attending the ceremony, the deadline to pay your graduation fee is November 25th, 2024. A late fee of $25.00 will apply after November 25th, 2024. Graduation fees are non-refundable, except if you do not graduate.
  • $20 (for students graduating in a grad gown)
  • $10 (for students graduating in their uniform)
To purchase your graduation ticket, you must use the link sent to you by email. It was sent to your personal email address on file. Each student number can only activate up to 6 tickets. The student will be responsible to distribute each of their guest tickets. Each student & guest will need to show their ticket to enter the venue.

Graduation Dress Code:
The required dress code for the ceremony will be business casual with your graduation gown over top. Graduation gowns will only be given on the day of graduation.
Arrival Time:
 We ask that graduates arrive a minimum of 30 minutes prior to the graduation start time, to get fitted in a gown, and get set up with your classmates. The doors will open at 13:30 pm for graduates (you must be present by 14:00 pm at the latest). You will be directed to get sized for your gown.
Guests:
Guest seating will be first come first serve. Please ensure they have their guest ticket electronically or printed. Doors will open for guests at 14:00pm. For those who can’t attend, we will be livestreaming the ceremony on the Oulton College YouTube channel.

December 2024 Graduation FAQ’s (Frequently Asked Questions)

Graduation will be held on Wednesday, December 4th, 2024.

The ceremony will take place at the Moncton Wesleyan Celebration Centre, 945 St. George Blvd, and will begin at 2:30 pm.
Students need to arrive at 1:30 pm. Lateness causes confusion and complications such as not being able to get into line with your classmates.

The doors will open at 1:30 for graduates. You will be directed to check in and get sized for your gown.

We will have a gown for you. Gowns are NOT to be taken outside of the building. You are not allowed to bring your own gown.

We do not have caps at our graduation ceremonies.

The doors will be open at 2 pm for family and friends attending the ceremony.

Each graduate is allowed up to 6 guests. Guests seating is on a first come, first served basis. You will be able to add guest tickets when you RSVP for graduation.

It is important that you fill in the graduate information form that was sent out in the graduation information email. If you did not receive it, please email [email protected] as soon as possible.

The ceremony should be done no later than 4:30 pm.

All students, friends and family attending the graduation ceremony will NOT be able to leave the ceremony until the end. Once you’ve crossed the stage, you will be directed to go back to your seat. This is to respect the other graduates and to minimize any interruptions. There will be NO exceptions.

For those who can’t attend in person, we will be live streaming the ceremony on our YouTube channel and you will hear your name being called out during the ceremony.

Your diploma will automatically be sent to your mailing address as filled out on the graduation information form sent to your email. If you did not receive this form, please email [email protected] as soon as possible. If you wish to pick up your documents on campus, please email Pauline Caissie at [email protected] as soon as possible. This is to ensure that they don’t get sent out by mail instead.

Diplomas will be available for pick up at the Education Department reception desk of our main campus situated at 4 Flanders Court the Thursday following the graduation ceremony. If the diploma is getting picked up by someone other than yourself, we must receive consent by email for that as well.

Students are responsible for ensuring we have the most up to date mailing address on file. If the diploma is sent to an incorrect address, the student is responsible for the additional fees to re-print and re-send the documents.

We will be live streaming the ceremony on our YouTube channel. Family, friends, and guests are welcome to watch virtually.
Oulton College has partnered with Casey & Co. Photography. The photos are taken AT HER STUDIO located at 1644 Mountain Road, Unit 201, Moncton. She will have the proper gown and sash. Please find a time here: Grad Photo Booking.

There will be a professional photographer to take pictures of each student walking across the stage and receiving their diploma. Also, following the ceremony, there will be a mini studio set up where you can get individual pictures with your gown and diploma free of cost, sent to you via email!

Casey & Co. Photography will be placing all the photos taken in a mutual gallery for you to download individual images (for free). This will be emailed to you within 3 weeks following the graduation ceremony.

The grad fee is non-refundable except if you don’t graduate.

Your T2202 form will be inserted in your diploma folder at graduation. If you can’t attend graduation, it will be sent to the mailing address submitted to us through the graduation information form. If you did not receive the form, please email [email protected] as soon as possible.
